Signatures overview |
1. How it works
- Quotes can add a signature with a random Quotation to your e-mail program.
Quotes can automatically create Outlook, Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird
signatures.
Read me (Outlook). If you connect Quotes with Outlook you still
have to manually configure Outlook to use this signature. In Outlook click on the
'tools' menu, within this menu select 'options'. With the options window, select
the 'Mail Format' tab. In the bottom of this tab you can select the Quotes signature
named QOutlook.
If you use another mailer program you can manually add your own signature using Quotes. Quotes will generate three files for each new signature, one in HTM, TXT
and RTF format.
- Quotes can add a random Quotation to your Messenger name. Your friends will see you online with a random Quote.

The random Quote in Messenger can be changed automatically (check Quote menu, automatic change interval) or manually by double-clicking the Q icon near the system tray.
Read me. Make sure you checked the option to show Mediaplayer number information in Messenger (options menu).
2. Change your email signature
You can add or change multiple email signatures. Click on 'change signature' in
the Quotes menu to access the signature manager.

- You can add, change and select the signature using the file menu.
- The actions menu:
- Allows you to insert random Quotations in certain parts of the signature.
- You can also select a random Quotation from a specific Quotes file using 'choose Quotes data file'. This overrules the default selected random Quote.
