Do you use your laptop at home and at work? Are you
tired of switching between work proxy servers and at home? If the answer
to these questions is yes QRoxy is there to help you. QRoxy is a tool for
switching your proxy server easily, as opposed to the cumbersome task of
changing your internet explorer settings all the time.
You can use QRoxy in two ways:
1. Systray application (running in memory)
2. Command line application

With the easy systray interface; when you start QRoxy a new icon will appear in
your system tray. Right click the icon and add your proxy servers in the
settings window (click settings to open).

After you did this QRoxy will recognize your proxy servers and let you swith
easily with a simple right click on the QRoxy icon in the systray.

If you don't want QRoxy running in memory make a batch file for every proxy
server you have and for switching the proxy off. Add a new textdocument to a
directory, rename the extension to .bat and add one of the following example
scripts.
Examples:
"c:\Program Files\QProxy\Qroxy.exe" yourproxyserver:8080
"c:\Program Files\QProxy\Qroxy.exe" off
"c:\Program Files\QProxy\Qroxy.exe" http://automaticscript/setup.proxy"
|
| If you want Qroxy to run whenever you start
windows, make a shortcut to the Qroxy.exe file and move/drag and drop the
shorcut to the Windows startup directory (in your startmenu). |
|
You need runtime files in order to run QRoxy. If you get an error running QRoxy
you don't have these runtime files installed. If you have Quotes, QSaver of
QMailer installed you have these files already.
Otherwise you can download these files here:
runtime files (msvbvm6).
